A mobility platform that's much more than just a parking lot
The mobility platform project was the subject of a parallel study mandate. The AFF - Metron - Basler et Hofmann - EMCH+BERGER consortium won the jury's attention with its intelligent, innovative and sustainable infrastructure. The proposal, dubbed Ligne Durable, goes beyond a simple parking lot and is already thinking in terms of the possible reconversion of the spaces. It allows for a high degree of modularity of the structure according to types of mobility and their evolution - parking spaces designed for a certain size of car can easily be transformed into spaces for bicycles, scooters, etc. - but also, thanks to removable slab levels, to transform, without excessive cost, part of the parking lot into other spaces (laboratories, offices, etc.). The project creates a new, high-quality entrance to the site, integrates perfectly into the urban space and, as a social catalyst, encourages exchanges in keeping with the philosophy of the industrial campus. Last but not least, Ligne Durable focuses on the management of natural elements and the rational use of resources, notably through the creation of ecological infrastructures and a climatic basin linked to the site's ditches, the optimization of natural ventilation and the installation of 5,500m2 of solar panels on the roof.
