Sober and flexible, the 100% local and renewable energy concept designed by Groupe E for the AgriCo site makes the most of the synergies between the energies available on site. It relies on the recovery of local energy sources, which will be managed and used on site, via a network. This concept is part of the energy transition and is a step ahead of the sustainable development policies and strategies of the Swiss Confederation and the canton.

The energy contract covers a period of 40 years, during which Groupe E will invest some CHF 30 million. The company will be responsible for infrastructure planning, implementation and maintenance. Implementation of the concept began in 2023 and will keep pace with the development of the AgriCo site.
